Elliott turns FIVE!

Good Morning Elliott, you're 5 today!!! We had to wake him up around 10am so we could have some fun. He is definitly a teenager trapped in a boys body, stays up late and sleeps in till noon.

Here are his gifts. Since Allan had to work he was able to open the gifts from the girls and the rest later on that night.

First stop.....Super Play! Mini golf, arcade, laser tag, and ice cream for lunch!

After spending hours playing we went to Target to pick out some gifts from Christmas that were replacement since they were broken :( Then off for haircuts and back home to meet Daddy.

Fireworks were on the top of his list,

and golf clubs, car, trucks, and a couple other things.

First thing first, test the fireworks!

Off to dinner at Stevi B's, and more arcade time.

Elliott said he had the best birthday but wished he could have gone back to Wannado City. I really wish they never closed too.

Fire Pit

Elliott loves the fire pit and begs daily to do it. Tonight it took a while to get it started but finally.... And we got marshmallows the size of our heads, YUM! The kids all love the pit, and the girls had Caitlyn over so it was that much more fun.

Adventures with Maizie

Today while I was cleaning up the Christmas with the doors open Maizie made a run for it. She always stays in our yard but I guess she was bored since I was the only one home. The lady from the liquor store called Allan that she was in the parking lot and she grabbed her for us. Bad dog!

She has also been stealing all of our food off the counters lately. If she wasn't so sweet & cute she would be in big trouble!

Red Velvet

It is Jordan's favorite cake and tonight she made it for us. A little trouble with the icing sticking and ripping the cake but it was delish! It is her dream to open a bakery, "Sugar Rush". I really hope she can make it big. She is a people person for sure and LOVES sweets.

Shopping!

Today I was able to hit Target for 90% off Christmas. It is my favorite thing to do, go after the holiday and pack it all up for next year. When I open the totes next year everything will be brand new and exciting. I am stealing an idea for a Christmas wreath of activities that will start December 1st and I was able to buy about 10 different activities for it already. That pile and a couple other bags cost me about $30. Now that is a huge savings! It is also a bonus to shop with my girlfriends while the kids are in school, we meet weekly and have a great time with our coupon binders and coffee.

Back to school....in the cold!

Today we are heading back to normalcy, BOOOOO! The kids had to get bundled up for school as it was about 38 degrees, freezing for us! They will get to do this about 10 times this winter and then we are back to melting. We all wish it could stay longer.

New Year, New Toys....

Here it is....Allan's new toy! It will be so much easier for him to do the yard is the 100 degree heat with this bad boy! The kids all lined up for rides and Jordan got to drive it herself, scary that she is 2 years away from having her permit!

New Year's Resolutions

Elliott, Madison, and Jordan are vowing to keep their rooms clean for a month, 31 whole days of cleaning up after themselves to get mice. Aunt Nancy said whomever can do it will be awarded with a mouse. Elliott was the only one ready for a picture......

I love the idea of clean rooms, but not the mouse part. We will see how it goes... Happy New Year!

Oh and my resolution?!? Try to do something with all the pictures I take! Here goes nothing!
