Beach day!

Today we decided to hit the Ft. Pierce State Park Beach as a family since Allan was home. It was a great day and lost of fun. Elliott wore his floaties so he was free in the water, but of course he wanted to be right next to daddy the whole time.

Madison made this sculpture by dropping hand fulls of sand over and over again, I forget what she called it, but it turned out really cute.

The only time I even saw Jordan, she made some friends and was buggy boarding the whole time.
Eating a sandwich, swimming makes you hungry for sure!
The loving parents, hahaha.
Calling the girls in to leave as the sky's grew dark. A Florida summer means you can set your watch for a 3pm thunderstorm.

Big Boy Bed!

The time has come...Elliott is a real big boy! We found a great bedroom set on Craigslist for him. It was in the guest room at and older couples home and rarely used. He is so in love with his big boy room, and we are so proud of him.

First nights sleep, he didn't even come out, just read his books and was out.

Heathcote Botanical Gardens.

The heathcote gardens is offering a program for the kids on Thursday mornings so Elliott and I decided to check it out while the girls were at Sunlight. It was an interesting lesson about bugs and then we made an ant farm. We had no time to walk around so we will have to do that next time.
They passed out marshmallows and asked us to eat with our pointer fingers like insects.
This is the ground coffee on the bottom of the ant feeder. As soon as Elliott smelled it he new it was his favorite beverage.

Posing for a picture in front of the tree decorated with all these cool recycled sculptures.
The finished ant house, he was so proud!
Cute and cuter....hahaha

Pool Playdate.

After Vbs today Samantha invited us over to swim and have lunch. The kids were in the pool for hours while Samantha and I chitchatted. We sure don't get together enough with our busy lives. It was nice to spend the day together.

The Park, VBS, and a Double Header!

This morning the girls started VBS at Sunlight Church. Since it is only from 9:30am-noon Elliott and I will be spending our mornings out. First we hit Turtle Run Park, which was empty until 2 buses of campers pulled up. Elliott was the size of alot of those 4 year olds and fit in perfectly. He had a great time with a couple of the boys jumping on everything.
Riding the horse.

In the tube.

Grandma drove over to come to the Mets game with us, it was a double header and it was HOT! We all had a great time and even got a free taco!

Elliott was trying to blow up and then inhale to crush the water bottle between games...it was a long night for sure!

A beach from the past.

Today we hit the "pay beach" in Ft. Pierce with Tracee and her family as well as her friend Melissa and her family. It was awesome! We haven't been in about 2 years and I forgot how great it was. The kids had a blast and the tide was low which was even better.

Climbing on the rocks was so cool!
Jordan on a buggy board.

Carrying the board back out.

PB cookies & a sleepy head!

When we got home from the beach we decided to make some peanut butter cookies as part of Daddy's father's day gift. The first thing Madison wanted to do was dress for the occasion, of course. Well I go to get Jordan from her room & she is passed out, with a note to not disturb on her door. So we left her sleeping and went on with our baking.

Whose not going to lick the measuring cup of peanut butter!

Out to the world!

At least she wrote "thank you".

They are twins I tell ya!
