New phone, first picture.

Well I just got my first Iphone, yay! The girls got new phones as well, poor Allan has to wait for his. Elliott was outside riding his scooter and I was sitting in the rocking chair trying to figure it all out when he asked if it took pictures. Of course it does, just not very good ones :-( Either way he is the cutest boy I know!

Camp Welaka, Madison's pick up.

Today is the day Madison is coming home from sleep away! We headed out to pick her up after lunch. As soon as we started climbing the hill I could hear her "My mom!". Awww, I even got teary eyed. She embraced Elliott and I and then Jordan (I hear sisters get closer as they age, lets hope so). She was not too dirty thank goodness and was all smiles. All the councilors said she did awesome, no home sickness and was a great sport. Yay!!! I was so happy for her. She had tons of new friends, songs, and stories from her first time at sleep away camp. On the way home she admitted crying in her bed one night because she missed me, poor thing. I don't think it affected her too much though :-)

Climbing "the hill".

First embrace!

Jordan was all hugs and smiles for Atlas, one of her councilors who she became really close with over her 2 week stay.

"Can I go to camp now?"

One of Madi's new friends :-)

"Taste this hose water, it's not too bad".

Cotton Eyed Joe!

We were the last to leave the campground. The girls were dancing and Elliott was bumming snacks from the councilors. Madison was nice enough to decorate him in stickers that were in her care package too.

Drawing a mustache on Atlas seemed like fun. She had the best personality, a really good friend to all the campers.

Load up the van!! I know she will be back next year.

Madison and Tweety, another councilor.

Since we were in Jupiter we headed to Grandma's house for a shower and dinner at Sweet Tomatoes, yum! It was so nice to have Madison back home, the house was definitely quiet without her.

Adopting Maizie!!

We took a ride to the Humaine Society today to introduce Daphne to Maizie. Everything went really well. They showed no signs of aggression toward each other at all. I think Daphne really misses Buddy so she was on her best behavior. Allan was able to meet us there and he loves her too! We learned that Maizie does not bark, knows a couple of commands, and is housebroken...woohoo! So we paid for her, only $90, and we will pick her up Monday after she has been spayed and had all of her shots, can't wait! Elliott was really sad that she had to see the doctor before she could come home. He asked if she had a lump :-( We all miss Buddy!!

While Madison is gone....

Daphne kept her bed warm.

Elliott fed Rachel, the turtle.

Jordan has had her friends over day and night but it is still really quiet without my firecracker. I hope she is having the time of her life!!

4th of July Bash!

It's here! The fireworks, food, family, and fun. One of our family's favorite holidays. We start off with delicious food, alcohol, and those loud firecrackers that have no point to them. The boys really love those! As the night went on everyone was drunk (except Jordan & Elliott with the virgin Jello Shots) and full! There were so many pretty fountains and airborne colors. I think someone even blew there hand off?!? The highlight of the night though had to be my couponing procedes. Everyone, even Tim's friend Eric, left with bags and bags of stuff. It was great to be able to help everyone out with free goodies!!!
Is 3 too young for a Jello Shot?

Jordan, Nonnie, and Daphne.

Grandpa watching tv of course :-)

Mother, and sister-in-law, two of my best friends.

All of the guys acting goofy and drunk.

Twins...with Allan trying to sneak in.

Married...with James trying to sneak in.

This year mom skipped the hamburger cake, it had gone up to $20 and nobody really ate it, and went to apple pie and ice cream...yum! Happy b-day party to me, 32, wow.

I couldn't blow out the candles so Elliott & Jordan got to help. It was a great night for sure and even with all of the craziness I was still think of Madison and hoping she was ok.

Camp Welaka, dropping off Madi!

It's the fourth of July and Madison is going away for 4 nights to sleep away camp. This will be her first time and she is super excited! She is constantly sleeping at friends' houses and never called me homesick so I'm sure she'll be just fine. I think she is so excited to be going to "Princess Camp" it may not even set in till day 4 that she misses us.

Her eyes are so light that even a touch of sun burns them, I hope she remembers to wear her sunglasses!

Princess for sure, this camp session sounds like it was made for her. Who else owns a 4th of July tiara?!?

Have to get your throat checked for infection....

and your head for lice...ewwww.

She went off without a hitch. Just a simple hug and kiss and gone. I hope she has lots of fun and not too much rain, the skies are black as Jordan and I pull away. Allan and Elliott are at home preparing for the 4th of July house bash. It is going to be an awesome night, MARGARITA BALL!

Oh my Gosh, I'm 32!

I can't believe I am 32, ugh, the years go so fast. I still think I am in my 20's..hahaha. It was a typical mommy b-day. I worked while the kids were at camp and then the carpet man came to steam clean the rugs...they sure needed it! We went to Ravenswood pool with Sheri Fontanez and the girls, Allan picked up a Carvel cake and made dinner, it was a nice quiet evening and then I went back to work.
